A life transition is anything that is a big change in someone’s life.
Life transitions can come in many forms:
Graduating college
Changing careers
Moving
Starting a family
Ending a relationship
And these are just a handful of examples.
Depending on the specific transition one is undergoing, they may feel…
Like they’re not living up to their potential.
Like they are stuck or in a rut.
Confused or uncertain about next steps or what they want.
Can feel down about themselves, like they’re lazy and not making progress.
Anxious or depressed, with excessive worry.
Lack of focus.
Daydreaming about a different, more fulfilling or happier/better life.
Indecision, afraid to make the wrong choice.
What is often common is that they are worried about what the future will hold; whether this change will lead to a better future.
To feel motivated and secure in their decisions. They want to take action, but are fearful of it being “the right action”.
And most of all, they want to be happy with their life and the choices they make, and to feel successful (whatever success means to them).
