What are your office hours?

Generally M - F, 7 am - 7 pm, by appointment. I do see people outside of these times, I make myself available to meet the needs of my clients. If they need an early morning (before work) appointment, we can do that. If they need an evening time, that works too. Saturdays are also available.

How long is a typical session?

50 minutes

What do I do to get started and make an appointment?

Set up a free 15 minute phone consultation where we will chat about what you’re looking for and I can answer any questions you might have. Then you will fill out the practice forms and schedule the initial appointment.

How do I pay?

Credit card, cash, Venmo, Zelle

Do you accept insurance?

I do not take insurance, however I do provide a superbill for my clients to submit to their insurance for reimbursement.

Can I cancel an appointment?

Yes, however I ask for 48 hours notice to cancel without being charged.

What is a free initial phone consultation?

15 minutes to answer any questions you might have, tell me what you’re looking for, and see if it’s a good fit.

What is the age range of your clients?

18 and up, mostly 18-50.

How long will I be in therapy?

This varies greatly! Some people come to therapy to address a specific issue, work through it, and leave therapy after a few sessions. Others want to do on-going therapy to carve out an hour a week to talk about whatever is happening in their life, and they continue in therapy for years. It really depends on what the individual is looking for, and we can figure it out together!

Does anyone cry in front of you?

Yes.

Do I have to tell you everything?

You don’t have to tell me anything you don’t want to, however you will get the most benefit from being honest and open.

Do you offer video or phone sessions?

Yes.

How do I know if you are the right therapist for me?

In my opinion, one of the most important things in therapy is the connection with your therapist. You should feel comfortable, connected, and safe; you will be discussing important things and if you don’t feel comfortable with your therapist, it will be that much harder to talk about the tough stuff.

Is our work confidential?

Yes.

Do you enjoy being a therapist?

Yes, I find it to be very rewarding and fulfilling!

Do you prescribe medications?

No.

Are you licensed?

Yes, in New York and Arizona.
